An alarm in 90 minutes calculates the exact time it will ring (current time + 90 minutes) and alerts you at that clock time, like an alarm clock. If I set an alarm for 90 minutes from now, will it keep working if I switch tabs?
Yes. The alarm uses the system clock and absolute timestamps, not a counter that stalls when you switch tabs. As long as the browser stays open, the alarm will ring even if the tab is not visible.
